Delivery Management: leading without being led
Across more than 80 clients and roughly 200 projects managed (site redesigns, business tools, omnichannel digital strategies, SEO, UX reviews...), I juggle ten or so projects in parallel every day and keep fifteen or so in build/run mode at any time. My role, whether on a fixed-price contract or a time-and-materials basis, is to be the bridge between the client's vision and the team's execution. I frame, I arbitrate, I deliver.
My approach
- Scoping and co-design: workshops, functional and technical specs, backlog prioritisation (Jira, Confluence)
- Delivery management: progress tracking, milestones and deliverables, risk management, multi-channel steering committee reporting
- Stakeholder coordination (business / technical): resolving decisions that cannot be escalated further, documenting every choice
- Cross-cutting strategic advice: SEO/GEO, AI, web accessibility, integrated at scoping stage rather than as late corrections

RICE Prioritisation Matrix
When you juggle ten or so projects in parallel every day, the question "what is the actual priority?" comes up constantly. The RICE method answers it with clear logic: Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort. This tool calculates the score and ranks your backlog automatically.
Project Risk Matrix
The risks that aren't written down are the ones that show up in crisis meetings. I built this tool to get project risks out of people's heads and onto a grid everyone can read and act on.

A brief isn't a description: it's a set of decisions made. This tool checks the 12 dimensions a complete brief must cover and gives an immediate completeness score.

"I want a contact form" is a brief, not a specification. This tool shows a client what really needs to be specified for a developer to start — without guessing, without going back, without scope creep.
Eisenhower Matrix
In an agency, you're pulled in every direction: a client chasing an answer, a partner asking for an update, a colleague needing a decision, a deadline closing in. Everything feels urgent, but not everything is important, and mixing up the two is the number one cause of overload. Add your tasks, tick urgent and important for each, the tool sorts them automatically into the 4 quadrants and tells you what to do, schedule, delegate, or eliminate.

What is delivery management?
Delivery management covers the end-to-end operational management of a digital project or programme: requirements scoping, backlog prioritisation, coordination of technical and business teams, risk management, client reporting. The delivery manager is the interface between the client's strategic vision and the concrete execution of teams.
Project Manager, Scrum Master, Delivery Manager: what's the difference?
These titles often cover the same scope depending on the organisation. The Project Manager handles planning, budget and coordination, the classic role in consulting firms, on fixed-price or time-and-materials engagements. The Scrum Master facilitates an agile framework at the team level. The Delivery Manager covers both: agile or waterfall, stakeholder arbitration across business and technical sides, end-to-end delivery ownership. In practice, I fill all three at once.
